Sabine Pass LNG

Since 2016, the Sabine Pass Liquefaction (SPL) facility has set a new benchmark of excellence in the LNG industry. The facility has reliably and safely produced more than 1,000 cargoes of LNG in the past six years. It now has six fully operating liquefaction units, or "trains," each capable of generating 5 million tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG. Located in one of the most convenient access points to the Gulf of Mexico, Sabine Pass can also receive natural gas from every supply source east of the Rocky Mountains. SPL leverages its vast pipeline network and close collaboration with dozens of natural gas producers and infrastructure businesses to purchase and safely deliver natural gas to the terminal. To help ensure optimized, long-term operation, ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation has delivered mandrel-wrapped ProRox PS 960 pipe sections with WR-Tech and ProRox MA 960 matting—providing firesafe insulation with exceptional water repellency against corrosion under insulation (CUI).
