Egina FPSO

The Egina FPSO is built at Samsung Heavy Industries. The project currently under development will have a production capacity of200,000 barrels per day (b/d).

The start-up of the Egina development is scheduled for the end of 2017.

The development of this oil field, located 130 km from shore in awater depth of 1,750 m, will benefit from Total's extensive deep offshore experience in the Gulf of Guinea. The field infrastructure consists of a subsea production system tied in to a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel with a processing capacity of200,000 b/dand a storage capacity of 2,3 million barrels.

ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is supplying ProRox PS960, ProRox MA 520 ALU insulation and ProRox GRP 1000 watertight cladding for skid pipe and vessels.
