NASR Project
The platform is for the Nasr Phase II Full Field Development Project, aimed at increasing the field's oil production capacity to 65,000 barrels per day (bpd) from the existing capacity of 22,000 bpd, and is expected to be finished in the first half of 2019.
The Nasr / Al-Nasr oil field is located approximately 130 km northwest of Abu Dhabi City in UAE.
Adma-Opco, a joint venture of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, BP, Total and the Japan Oil Development Company is the operator of the field.
ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation is supplying A60 fire rated insulation (SeaRox SL620) and an innovative watertight cladding system (ProRox GRP 1000) for the platform's fire-rated decks.
